    Hi friends!

    First of all, make sure you’ve marked your calendars for some upcoming events!

    Sunday, Sept 2nd (THIS SUNDAY) is the Charlottesville blogger lunch! Obviously, this is not limited to those in Charlottesville, so hopefully some other bloggers from around the state can make the trip!

    Saturday, Sept 8th is the next RVA Fashion Bloggers meet up! (Note, the date changed!) Again, this isn’t limited to those in Richmond, so anyone that can get to Richmond should definitely check this out! It’s open to fashion, DIY, and lifestyle bloggers. You don’t want to miss this!
    If you have other event ideas, please shoot us an e-mail at virginiabloggers@gmail.com and we’ll add it to the Events page!

    Calling all guest bloggers!

    We’re currently working on the line up for guest bloggers in late September/early October! If you’re interested in guest posting, please shoot us an e-mail and let us know what you’d like to blog about!

  • Event Annoucement: RVAFB Meet Up THIS MONDAY!

    Hi all!

    We have an important announcement for all the fashion bloggers out there!

    RVA Fashion Bloggers is holding a meet up this Monday night @ 7pm, at Tastebuds American Bistro

    4019 MacArthur Avenue, Richmond VA 23227 (it is in the Northside of Richmond, off of Laburnum Ave. in Bellevue).
    You can read a recap of the last RVAFB Meet Up here, and I’m sure this one is going to be fantastic as well!

  • Fashionista for a Day

    I wonder if it was obvious when I walked in, that I’m not a fashion blogger. (Probably.) Thankfully, everyone was so nice they didn’t call me out on it. 😉

    While I’m not much of a fashion blogger, I am someone who enjoys meeting other local bloggers around the area!

    Larissa, the organizer of RVA Fashion Bloggers (and the brains behind From the Runway to RVA) allowed me to come to the meet up, even though I’m not really a fashion blogger. I was so excited to meet some amazing local bloggers! (And I finally got to meet Leney from A Girl Named Leney! Remember her awesome guest post about one of the RVA Fashion Week Events?)

    So what goes on at a fashion blogger meet up? Lots of laughing, and lots of picture taking! (I could totally get used to this.)

    It’s fun being somewhere where carrying a DSLR around is totally normal.
