It was the rainiest of spring evenings last week at our 2nd Hampton Roads blogger meet-up, but that didn’t stop us from a fun evening at Pacifica! Our first meet-up took place in Norfolk, so we gathered in Virginia Beach for this month’s happy hour festivities, co-hosted by Christina & Kristen of 6 Petals. Pacifica is such a great restaurant with delicious food & drink options, & let me tell ya, I’ve never roasted a marshmallow during happy hour before, but I don’t know that it can be topped.
Having successfully navigated our smores without setting anything on fire, we spent our evening getting to know new faces & sharing our stories about how our blogs got started. The notebook favors that Kristen & Christina handmade (!!!) for everyone were put to good use when we all shared the blogs that have been inspiring us recently, which resulted in a few new blogs being added to everyone’s daily reads list. We left our evening of laughs & inspiration with a few fun ideas for next month’s meet-up.
