If you’re a fashion blogger (or any blogger at least interested in fashion) then you won’t want to miss RVA Fashion Week’s First Annual Fall Fashion Weekend, October 24th & October 25th at Haxall Point in Downtown Richmond!
This two-day event will showcase some of Richmond’s most talented local artists and designers. Richmond possesses an abundance of creativity, and RVA Fashion Week is the number one source for the city’s growing design talent.
The weekend will kickoff with a Jewelry and Art Showcase on Friday at 7pm, where guests will be able to view and purchase art and jewelry of various styles from local artists and jewelry designers. In addition jewelry designers will showcase their pieces on RVA Fashion Week models as part of a live art exhibit. This event is FREE!
The second event of the weekend will be the Designer Show on Saturday, where 6 local fashion designers will showcase their fall collections. The designer lineup includes Angelia Cooper of Angelia’s Couture, Markie Colden of PLV, Nikki Fisher of Nkiba, Ivy Stewart of Part 2 RVA, Jevin Kinard of Child Rebel, and Corlette Dixon of Tough Cookie. Doors open at 7pm and the show will start promptly at 8p. Tickets are $20 at the door and $15 in advance. Haxall Point is located at 1001 Haxall Point, Richmond VA 23219.
